Fashions 1983 ---- Something old, something new, something blue! Stonewashed denim, an overnight success! Prewashed with pumice stones, that "worn" look comes through right on the rack, and the older the look, the better! The 50's fashion frenzy has inspired a strong demand for this broken-in visage, but with a new sense of styling. The oversized jean jacket and vest as well as an array of pant variations, tops, skirts and outerwear have been introduced to the stonewash process, offering a total fashion concept to the entire family. For the "chicks," the "Marilyn" jean is the leader, skin tight and cropped at the ankle (shown). For real shades of the past, it's SASSON stonewash variations: Overdye(stonewashed denim splashed with bright color to jazz up jeans for the 80's) and Crayon Denim (this time dye and then, stonewash for 50's pastels!). This hurts both Ebay sellers & buyers. Meanwhile, USPS rates continue to rise.
