Listing for a brand new ornament and removed only for inspection and photos, this is a 1998 Hallmark Keepsake ornament, MINNIE PLAYS THE FLUTE, 2nd in MICKEY'S HOLIDAY PARADE. Modeled in the classic style of the 1920's & 30's when the Disney characters had pie-shaped eyes, it features Minnie Mouse in a marching band uniform, complete with a polka dot skirt and playing the flute. In 1932 the friendship between Walt Disney and JC Hall resulted in the first Hallmark products with Disney's characters and Hallmark did several ornaments in this throw-back style in the Mickey & Co. collection. The ornament is 3 inches tall and 2 inches wide. Very cute ornament and perfect for the Disney collector. The ornament and box are mint with original packaging and price tag intact. From my mom's massive holiday collection, most of which she did not display. She just collected...a lot and she loved Disney! I will be listing new items daily. Thank you for checking it out.
