Attach the red clamp securely to the positive terminal. Connect the BLACK clamp of the charger to the NEGATIVE terminal of the battery: Locate the negative terminal on the battery. Attach the black clamp securely to the negative terminal. Connect the Charger using O-Ring Terminal Attach the O-ring terminals to the battery posts according to their color: Red for positive (+). Black for negative (-). Tighten the bolts securely on the O-ring terminals. Plug in the Charger Locate a standard AC outlet near the battery and charger. Ensure the charger is in a safe , dry location. Insert the plug of the charger into the AC outlet securely. Verify that the charger is receiving power by checking for any indicator lights or display on the charger. Select Charging Mode The 6V or 12V indicator light will power on , showing the detected voltage required for charging the battery.
