Up for sale is an 1898-99 notepad with only end pages filled with addresses in pencil advertising HOTEL ALLEN of Allentown, PA with the months on the back. This was recently found at auction in the Lancaster County PA area. Tape on the outside for binding has yellowed, interior is book cloth. Some yellowing to the boards said to be "silicate" on the back calendar, so you could wash off the pencil supposedly. 2.5x4.25". Interesting advertising. Best of luck in bidding.
