Welcome to The Textile Trunk!~ ~*~ Approximate date of this fragment : 1900-1920's I’ve had many emails from you creative people asking if I could offer small wallpaper pieces for design inspiration, so today I photographed and listed a large group of these wonderful fragments! Each and every square inch is something to behold on these pieces, they never cease to amaze me! These are original French wallpaper fragments, all taken from a single collection that once belonged to a French wallpaper designer in the late 1800’s to very early 1900’s. These pieces were kept and used as inspiration samples, valued for their color, pattern, scale, and design ideas rather than as full wallcoverings. These are true fragments, not full panels or measurable lengths. For this reason, I am not providing measurements — please use the photographs for size reference, scale, and exact condition. I am intentionally keeping the writing minimal and letting the design speak for itself. Condition is best assessed in the photos, and variations are part of the charm and history of these pieces!!
