Description

This is a Harris Co. model # 1968-0360 UHF Repeater Duplexer for use with UHF Repeaters. It is a 6-cavity duplexer, with BNC connectors to go to the Repeater Receiver, Transmitter and the Antenna. The tag shows it as having come from the factory tuned to 454.025 MHz Receive and 459.025 MHz transmit frequencies. Most of these UHF "Mobile" duplexers that operate in the 450-470-MHz range will tune down into the 440-450 MHz Amateur Radio band, but I have not tried this unit. The adjustments for changing frequencies are on the rear side of the duplexer (shown in the fifth picture.) Typical transmit power handling capability for similar units is 50-watts, but I don't have any brochure or manual to verify the tuning range or power limits. There are tuning instructions for similar duplexers made by Sinclair, Phelps-Dodge, Motorola and other companies, available on the Repeater-Builder web site. There are also some YouTube videos showing a similar unit being retuned to operate on new frequencies. This came from a local Amateur Radio Operator's Estate. It is untested and is sold as-is. I have two of these units available, and some VHF and UHF filters that I have listed in separate eBay sales at the time of this listing. I do not offer Duplexer tuning, but there are sellers here on eBay that offer tuning service when you ship a Duplexer to them, they tune it to your requested frequencies, and then ship it back to you. Local pickup is also available. Shipping charges are based on other electronic items of similar size and weight that I've recently shipped. Local pickup is available, but PayPal cannot be used for payment if you're picking up the item, since PayPal needs proof of shipment to be covered under their rules. Shipping is ONLY to a PayPal Confirmed Address. It is the responsibility of the BUYER to make sure the address listed on their account is correct. Please update your account address before buying, as I cannot send items to a different address than the one provided on your account. Any International sales must use eBay's International Shipping Program service, where I ship the units to their forwarding center, and eBay takes care of the necessary customs, etc. paperwork, and then they ship onward to the buyer. No Direct Overseas Sales! No sales to Germany due to their new seller and shipping requirements. Because of the shipping arrangements that are done out-of-state, I am not able to combine shipment of multiple items. I ship items within five days of the end of the sale and receipt of payment. Please understand that once I've dropped off an item to be shipped, I have no further control of when it will actually arrive at your location. Occasionally, the shipping company routes the package through some far, out-of-the-way locations which can greatly delay the shipping time, compared to what eBay quotes for delivery times. Please see my other eBay listings for additional Amateur Radio and Electronic items. Thanks for looking!
