With flash photography lighting up stadiums around the world and video equipment rolling, BIGFOOT with Bob and Marilyn Chandler, Jim Kramer and ace drivers like Dan Runte have thrilled millions of fans. Simply put, there is nothing quite like a BIGFOOT moment. In the world of RC, Monster Trucks have had a tremendous impact. Since the 1980's, many of the best-selling vehicles have added the monstrous tag to garner attention, and, low and behold, it has worked. One of the more famous paint schemes from the 1990’s featured a lot of flame work on a black base color body. This radical departure became a crowd favorite with Dan Runte piloting a new generation BIGFOOT to victory during the glory days of side-by-side competition. With JConcepts’ featured wheel in the RC monster truck product line, “Tribute Wheels” seems to be a perfect match for one of the more successful BIGFOOT trucks of all-time. The included body shell, a 1993 Ford F-250 with visor and racerback can be dressed as the iconic truck. With major help from the included decal sheet and massive wrap, the Tribute Wheels body is a thing of beauty once it is carefully prepped and decaled. Tribute Wheels BIGFOOT is the result of JConcepts always looking through the lineage to add staple designs to an already bolstered line-up. Back in 2020, the team unveiled this shell design with a wild look and to the pleasure of many RC monster truck fans, now, they were able to re-create a lot of their favorite vehicles. The aeronose design of the Ford truck body represents everything that is great about the 1990’s. As trucks transitioned from square body designs to more aerodynamic and fuel-efficient designs, the aeronose seems to possess the best of both qualities. During this generation, it was popular to incorporate new flair including body extension accessories to make the trucks even more “90’s.” Included in the package is a racerback which can be trimmed and mounted to the back of the cab, while the visor can also be fitted and equipped in the same manner. The cab of the Ford is all brute force, extended front nose with era correct body lines, this truck means business. Long rear bed, slightly recessed bed area can either be painted to match or left clear for a scale fiberglass look and affect. Once the finishing, trimming, and accessories are added, it’s easy to see how Tribute Wheels is one of the most feared monster trucks of all-time. Large wheel wells with room for monster truck racing tires, grille, headlight, and smooth bumper accoutrements provide a great look, fit, and finish. The beauty of the JConcepts shell is that it works well on several solid axle trucks on the market but is also sized with a wheelbase fitting trucks up to 13” long. The retro racer, single cab, allows ample room to mount the body on an LMT or Axial SMT10 and still packs a mean punch mounted on custom “shafty” and clod buster-based rigs. Each package includes window mask, 1993 Ford specific decal sheet, Tribute Wheels BIGFOOT pre-trimmed decals and wrap along with the clear polycarbonate body. In addition, JConcepts has included the mock light buckets and lens caps to place on top of the racerback and top them off with yellow, era correct, color bucket covers.
