Brand new (open box, not used) Lumix s9 full frame mirrorless compact body camera. The retail price for this camera is $1,499. The color is officially called "Sakura" and indeed it's a cute cherry blossom pink. If you don't like pink you could always put a camera skin on it. Why am I selling this awesome little camera? Because I am a Sony shooter and bought this on a whim without putting much thought into it. And it turns out I cannot use a lens adapter to put E-mount lenses on L-mount cameras, because no such adapter exists. Other types of adapters for this camera do exist if you normally shoot another system. But I can't return it. I bought it with the intention of using it as a second camera body because I got a good deal on it and thought I'd just use an adapter. I don't want to buy all new lenses for this system so it's not really worthwhile to keep it. Well, my loss is your gain! This camera comes in the original box, has a cover cap, adjustable strap, and one battery. The camera can be charged via USB-C cable. FYI if you are unfamiliar with Lumix like I was, the sensor appears "wobbly" inside the camera when you take a lens off or remove the cover cap. This is by design and it is part of the IBIS (in body image stabilization) system. I didn't realize at first and initially thought it must be defective until I called Lumix and they assured me this was normal and part of the way it works! You can also see if you google this that it is a common "omg what is wrong with my camera?" .."nothing is wrong that's how it is" type of question you will see on lumix forums. This is an electronic shutter-only camera. No mechanical shutter - hence no shutter count to display (I have not shot it at all because I have no compatible lenses for this camera) Due to the expensive nature of this camera, it will be fully insured for shipping and it will require a signature for delivery. That is why the cost of shipping is not cheap! The original item box will be properly packaged with care and lots of bubble wrap and padding inside of a larger box to be sure it is not damaged in shipping. The inside of the Lumix box does contain rigid molds as seen in the photos to keep the camera and battery held tightly in place so it cant rumble around in there.
