I've only just learned that flat ethernet cable exists, so despite potential issues of no shielding and being easier to damage I decided to give it go. This due to copper landlines being phased out, so the phone has to be next to the router, which in turn has to be next to the master socket. This is 15m long replacing a very temporary 10m shielded cable, my staircase is no longer a trip hazzard / death trap! Internet speed is the same as the shielded cable. Many thanks to the seller.
