Vintage Christmas figural mercury glass ornament of a squirrel with a nut, circa 1930-1940s. The majority of these early Christmas mercury glass figural ornaments were produced in Germany. Therefore, we are attributing this piece as such. Additionally, the ornament cap is comparable to other German ornaments of the era. ***Majority of listings describe these type of figural ornaments as “antique” in which they are not yet. Antique items date over 100 years old which would not make this an antique as they were produced predominantly in the 1930s. Condition: Minor paint loss. Measurements: 3” tall, 1” wide, and 1.5” deep. All measurements are taken to the nearest half inch.
