Vintage CD-ROM CDROM Mitsumi CRMC-LU005S WITH 74-1645A 16bit IF Card. This drive uses Mitsumi’s proprietary interface (the 40-pin connector looks like IDE but is not standard IDE/ATAPI). Tested working when last installed. Important compatibility note. Vintage Mitsumi CRMC-LU005S Single-Speed (1x) CD-ROM Drive Bundle This is a genuine early 1993-era Mitsumi CRMC-LU005S 1x CD-ROM drive (manufactured September 1993) along with its matching proprietary Mitsumi ISA controller card and ribbon cable. Important compatibility note: This drive uses Mitsumi’s proprietary interface (the 40-pin connector looks like IDE but is not standard IDE/ATAPI). It will only work with the included proprietary controller card (or a compatible vintage sound card that has a Mitsumi CD-ROM header). It will not work plugged directly into a standard IDE port or typical ATAPI controller.
