Purchased four years ago from Kurosawa Musical Instruments. Serial number indicates it was made in 1980. I have been using it as my main guitar, but I am selling it due to equipment reorganization. It has a "Bi-Sound" feature, which is a coil-tap function, allowing for a variety of sounds from humbucker to single coil. It has a unique tone that can only be achieved with YAMAHA. Sound check confirmed. It was adjusted for easy playability at a major music store, but I have set the string height very low, so the 6th string may buzz sometimes depending on the day. You may want to adjust the settings after purchase. There are no sticker marks. Only the tone lettering on the rear side is missing. Everything else is original. YAMAHA hard case (this is from another guitar, so consider it a bonus). The strap in the photo is not included, so please be aware. The 6th string side of the neck was chipped from the time of purchase, but it was reinforced at a major music store, so it can be played without much concern. There is some white cloudiness, dullness, and dents due to aging, but it is still a good guitar that can be used without any problems. I will answer any questions you may have to the best of my ability, but there may be some overlook or i mihght have some lack of knowledge, so please judge based on the photos and consider your purchase.
