I had hoped to use the lens for a project that didn’t require that feature, but it turned out I did need it. I repacked it as received and submitted a return request. The seller chose to issue a partial refund and let me keep the lens. I ended up donating it to a young photographer battling cancer. I told him about the defect, but he loves it!
