Zeiss Contarex Biogon 21mm f / 4.5 extra wide angle lens with viewfinder for Contarex 35mm slr film cameras . Serial # 2623392. Made in Germany. This Biogon lens will fit camera's like Contax Contarex, Contax Bullseye, Contax Special and Contax Professional. This fine lens will also work on mirrorless digital cameras like the Canon EOS R, Nikon Z6, Z7, Olympus OM-D E-M5II, OM-D E-M1, OM-D E-M1II, Panasonic Lumix G85, G9, GH-4, GH-5, Fuji X-Pro3, XT-4 mirrorless, Sony Alpha a6000, a6300, a6500, a7II, a7III, a7IV, a7SII, a7SIII, a7RIV, a9 with the proper adapter. Close focus down to 2 feet. Stops range from f/ 4.5 - f/ 22 . This lens is in Ex or 8 of 10 cosmetic condition. No dings or dents. Fairly clean lens barrel with a few small marks around. Clean glass. Nice lens coating with no marks or scratches. Smooth focus. Clean and smooth aperture blades. Lens was recently CLA'd in February 2025 best as possible for a vintage lens . Good working order. Lens comes with a Zeiss 21mm viewfinder . No dents or dings. Viewfinder has a good view with fairly clean glass. Lens comes with a front cap(Zeiss front cap from a different lens), and case. Make this scarce vintage sharp extra wide lens with finder & recent CLA , and in good shape with excellent contrast part of your Contarex collection. Set sells with NO RESERVE at a price of $975.
