Handmade Chromotherapy Color wheel, Wall clock, home decoration. Inspired by colors.. Colors are the mother tongue of the subconscious. Humans and some closely related primates have evolved trichromacy. We are able to see colour due to light falling on the retina (on cone cells-photoreceptors for color vision in the eye), these wavelengths are then converted into electrical impulses and sent to the hypothalamus (the part of the brain which controls our hormones and endocrine system). Colour signals can trigger the hypothalamus and make us feel happy, sad, angry .. In ancient Greece, Hippocrates, observed that many people shared similar characteristics. While one group displayed certain consistent behavior patterns, other groups had completely different types of consistent behaviors. Based on his research, Hippocrates identified four different personality types. His behavioral observations were so accurate that they are the foundation for many personality theories today.
